I’ve known about this Corolla for a while, but never got around to take photos of it. It’s in incredible condition to be street-parked year round in Oslo, but the street is a dead-end and in a rather nice neighbourhood.

SELFIE!!!

The plastic is still on the interior door trim.

RF61913 indicates that the car was originally sold in Stavanger on the west coast, making the condition even more remarkable. A quick search in the Norwegian auto register reveals that it’s a 1986 with the 1.3 12 valve engine. The current owner bought the car in 2014, and it passed inspection last December. Guess the mileage at that inspection?

It either is extremely low like 1000km or so, or 25000km which is quite high for it to look this good.

I imagine old people are somehow involved.

35 374 km

It is high for it to look this good, but low for something 30 years old. It’s the only value listed, which I find a bit strange because the records usually go back to the 90's.

Yeah, that’s low for 30 years, but immensely high seeing that it still has protective plastic in the interior.

That’s weird, maybe it has been driven in the late 80s, then parked up in a garage somewhere in the late 80s or early 90s, only to be taken out in 2014. That would definitely explain the lack of rust.

Yep! I think they used that slogan here until the late 90's.
